With the recent water crisis, residents know now more than ever that who is on the council matters. I am running for the 9th Ward’s City Council because the Council matters to our City’s quality of life and its future. I am extremely vested in representing my ward and the issues that matter most to them. Clean water, faster 911 response time, more police patrols, and removal of trees that block sewage pipes are just a few of the 9th Ward’s interests.
I am willing to ask the tough questions and demand answers. It is not acceptable that concerns about the quality of our water were minimized and response time from the state was excruciatingly slow. Our residents deserve better.
